#SPOILER #StrangerThings (Season 1) deserved all it's accolades and success. One of the main reasons why it has taken me so long to watch this series on Netflix, was that by the time it aired, I had blogged and featured about it so ineccesently, there would not have been much left to "surprise" me, and had felt I needed to give myself a chance to "forget" about what I had featured about "somewhen", can came back to watch it with a much lesser memory or impression of it, somewhat "fresher", without knowledge of the series blogged about ... welcome to my #bloglife LOL And also, given the accolades heaped upon it "then", I'm the sort of guy who might feel pretty adversed to it LOL ... I hype stuff, but ironically I don't necessarily buy into the hype immediately ... well, I do, but ... you know what I mean, I hope :) The long "wait" for Season 2 has just begun for me now....

This year’s Qing Ming Activities for the Heng fam was spread between two days - on Saturday (April 8) and Monday (April 10) - because we no longer have the use of my Brother’s car, and we were cabbing it instead. And because this is essentially the last weekend of the month long Qing Ming (ends this Friday April 14th), the crowd was not as manic as it had been compared to the early two weekends that we have experienced since before this year, and the result was a less stressed endeavour, which I personally appreciated very much so.

We are so embroiled in the rush for everything against the thronging crowds, we sometimes might not necessarily cherish the time spent with our late ancestors and/or dearly departed, and instead having it be a joss stick that needs to be lit, or a pile of money to be burnt - by that I meant “hell money” - which I’ve always felt somewhat “unfair” to both the living and departed, habits and superstitions aside.

I’m sure you don’t necessarily light the candles on a birthday cake and hurriedly blow it out and cut the cake and devour the cake, in a flash? Well, maybe you do, so “Happy Birthday” LOL

For folks who do not lit a joss stick or burnt hell dollars, this is not meant for you, thanks.
